What was supposed to be a nostalgic night of rock from the 90s quickly became chaotic for some spectators at Bush concert has Will explore place In KelownaBritish Columbia, Wednesday evening.
Several participants allegedly alleged that the safety of Prospera Place used excessive force on fans during the opening law of the program. Videos and publications on social networks describe scenes of drinks and phones being eliminated and fans who are dragged out of the site – some, they say, without clear cause.
Jaymz Harker, witness to the concert, says he was amazed by what he saw.
“Two young girls were just dancing when security suddenly jumped over the barricade and removed them,” Harker told Global News. “They dragged them aggressively, so we followed because we didn’t think it was right.

“When we caught up, we saw several security guards swing a girl with her hands behind her back and slam her face first in the sidewalk.”
Harker also claims to have been threatened with moving for trying to intervene.
“I called the way they manipulated it, it was dangerous and they were not allowed to do it. Another goalkeeper approached me and told me that if I had taken a step forward, I would also be removed,” he said.
But not everyone blames security. In the publications and discussion of comments on Facebook, other spectators shared a different perspective – some saying that the security guards were themselves attacked during chaos.
A person wrote: “Several guards have been struck, striped, even seized by the throat.” Another participant described a drunk altercation nearby, saying that it had started with “a super in intoxicated state who refused to leave after being invited to go”.
In a declaration to Global News, Prospera Place Management said: “The security and well-being of all customers and the staff of Prospera Place is our absolute priority. We are aware of recent incidents involving Securiguard and RCMP staff, and we make internal journals to fully understand the circumstances. ”
Securiguard also published a statement, saying:
“We take any concern very seriously concerning the conduct of the members of our team and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care in each interaction.”
According to the RCMP, the police responded to several altercations during the concert – and confirmed that some people were detained during the night for poisoning.
“It really upset us,” added Harker. “It gave a bad tone for the concert.”
