Essential Health is pleased to announce Dr Devetranath “Dev” Reddy Mannuru as a new head doctor of our western market. Dr. Mannuru succeeds Dr. Richard Vetter, who served in the same quality for six years.
“Dr Mannuru’s passion for health care, medical education and in -depth expertise, associated with its collaborative approach and mentorship, are precious additions to our team,” said Dr. Stefanie Gefroh, president of the western market of Essentia. “His leadership and patient training training is also an invaluable asset to help everything we serve safely and neat.”
Since he moved to Fargo in 2013, Dr. Mannuru has devoted the last 12 years to work as a hospitalist and various academic and clinical administrative roles in Sanford Health in Fargo and the Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Dakota in the North.
He has a large experience in leadership, in particular as a basic teacher and associate program director of the residence program in internal medicine in Fargo. Dr. Mannuru has also been a member of the basic faculty of the Transition Unless residence program in the last decade. A solid supporter of undergraduate medical education, Dr. Mannuru was director of the state -scale internship for the UND internal medicine department for seven years.

In addition to his responsibilities as leadership, Dr. Mannuru will serve as a hospitalist at Essentia Health-Fargo and will continue to support medical education by maintaining his status as a clinical teacher at Und.
Dr. Mannuru obtained his diploma in medicine at the JSS Medical College in India and completed his residence in internal medicine in the Bronx-Lébanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, New York. In addition, he participated in a year -round research training program for world clinical researchers at the Harvard Medical School.
