Organ celebration
Organist Rees Taylor Roberts Marks The 340th anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach With a concert of music from Bach and the following composers who reflect the influence of Bach, 7 p.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary of the Episcopal Church St. Luke, 4106 John F. ‘Stitches in time’
“Ozark Quilts: Stitches in Time”, quilts which were given to the permanent collection of Rogers Historical Museum and a salvation at one of the first major exhibitions of the museum, appeared on Saturday at the Trankl gallery at the museum, 313 S. Second St. in Cherry Street, Rogers. This is part of the celebration of the museum’s 50th anniversary.
The exhibition, until March 28, presents some of the same courtyards of Ozark who made an appearance in this exhibition, as well as the beginnings of certain more recent acquisitions. It will also include courtes from the museum collection which were exhibited in the permanent galleries and in the Hawkins house of 1895.

End of war anniversary
Hugh Mills, from Hot Springs, a graduate of Hot Springs High School and one of the most decorated helicopter pilots of the Vietnam War, will discuss his experiences in the war and his 26 -year career in the American army as a MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, 503 E. Mills ordered the platoon of aerodroma scouts, the so-called “D Troop Parias”, where he has developed many aerodynamic scout tactics of the army’s air cavalry. Later, he stole and ordered a squadron of Cobra helicopters. He is the co-author of “Low Level Hell: A Scout Pilot in the Big Red One”.
He stole more than 3,300 hours of fighting and retired in 1993. His medals include three silver stars; the Legion of Merit; Six distinguished flying crosses; Three bronze stars; Three purple hearts; Three meritorious service medals; Two air medals for combat hours and six air medals for personal value; Six medals of army claims for value; and the National Defense Service medal. The government of Vietnam also awarded him the cross of the bravery with Silver Star and Palm, the medal of honor of the Vietnamese, and the medal of honor of civic action. He is also a member of the renowned temple of Arkansas veterans. The museum’s Vietnam gallery displays the Mills uniform, the flight helmet and the medals.
‘History on the run’
The 16th MacArthur Park “History on the Run” 5K begins at 7 p.m. Friday, from the northern lawn of the MacArthur park of Little Rock on the East Ninth Street (in front of the military history of the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas), proceeds through the MacArthur park and the districts of Petaway and ends at the starting point. Herbs extravagance

Royal ‘Jekyll & Hyde’
