The Academy of American Records recently held its 67th annual Grammy prize and African musicians among those who were recognized during the ceremony. Among them was Angelique Kidjo, a renowned French musician from Beninaise who occurred at the event and TEMS, a Nigerian Afrobeats star who won the Grammy in the “Best African Musical Performance” category.
