Here are the nine best quotes from Musk of the call:
- “Some of these things that I have said for a long time, and I know that people said:” Well, Elon is the boy who cried the wolf like several times. “But I tell you, there is a fucking wolf this time, and you can drive it. (Musk joked about how he had repeatedly rejected the release of complete autonomy.)
- “For many people, they, like their experience Tesla Autonomy is like – if she is even a year old, if she is even two years old – it’s like meeting someone when she is like a little one and thinking that they are going to be a little one forever. But obviously, they will not be a little one forever. They grow up. But if their last experience was like: “Oh, FSD was a toddler”. It’s like: “Well, he grew up now. Have you seen it? It’s like walks and discussions. ‘”

So, that you can obviously afford a lot of training in this situation. (Musk discussed how much it could cost to train the humanoid robots of Tesla and how lucrative they could be for the company.)
- “Now, with Optimus, there is a lot of uncertainty on the exact timing because it is not like a train arriving at the station for Optimus. And as, we literally design the train and the tracks and the station in time real.”

“Hollywood shows you 1% inspiration but forgets 99% perspiration to really find how to make this initial prototype manufactured, then made at a high volume, so that the product is reliable, at low cost, coherent, does not decompose Not all the time, and it is 100 times more difficult at least than the prototype.
- “Obviously, humans lead without shooting the lasers of their eyes – I mean, unless you are Superman.”
(Musk explained why he does not believe that Lidar is the best technology to allow autonomous driving.) - “Well, at Tesla, obviously, we think that manufacturing is cool. SpaceX, we think that manufacturing is cool. But in general, for talented Americans, they must-beyond my businesses, beyond Me and my teams here, in general, we need to make manufacturing again in America.
- “But yes, we are in this perverse situation where people turn off the car on the automatic driver so that the computer does not shout them, check their text messages while directing the car with their knee and not looking out the window . ”
