Comté d’Orange, Florida. – The electric exhibition of this weekend at Orange County Convention Center has a little something for everyone, whether you are already passionate about electric vehicles or you are looking to find out more.
The exhibition takes place right outside the southern hall of the Congress Center. Brands like Toyota, Tesla, Ford and Lucid were there with models of their electric vehicles.
“If you have already been curious to become electric, or if you have read something about becoming electric, it’s probably bad. You have to come here and consult this festival,” said BJ Birtwell, CEO of the exhibition.
Before Birtwell started the exhibition, he said he was skeptical of electric vehicles. But once he learned more about them, he wanted to give people like himself a place to come and know more about electric transport.
“I felt like electric vehicles had no soul,” said Birtwell. “I thought they were toaster on the wheels until I driven one. I driven one, and I had my lighting moment. ”
Energy and electric vehicles were a subject of discussion for the Trump administration.
Some speculate on the executive decree “Unleashing American Energy” of the president and others indicate that the president is likely to seek to repeal a tax credit of $ 7,500 approved by the congress within the framework of a climate law of the Biden era from 2022.
But Birtwell wants people to put the policy aside when they choose what suits them best with regard to electricity or gas.
“Americans should have the choice of what they want to drive,” said Birtwell. “So, let’s push all the policy aside and consider it as a form of transport that people can choose, and if electricity is the right way for them – great because we have everything here so that you can try.”
People who frequent the Electrify Expo have the possibility of testing electric vehicles such as the Ford Lightning, Teslas and more.
Ford also offers its “thrill area” where people can see and feel the power of a Ford Mustang Mach-E.
Ford Mustang Mach-E brand director Matt Radebach said that the possibility of having fun is how the rally is breaking the mold with an electric vehicle.
“So this in particular is to have fun on the dirt roads,” said Radebach. “So somehow out of the road and to place Mustang, Mustang has never been before.”
