In November, Drake filed a legal petition In the county of Bexar, Texas, where San Antonio is located, alleging that Iheartmedia had received illegal payments from Universal Music Group to stimulate the radio -driver for “not like us”. UMG is the parents’ record label for Drake and Lamar.

The petition, a precursor of a potential trial, had asked for deposits from representatives of the two companies.

In a legal document filed on Thursday, the Drake lawyers said that the rapper and Iheartmedia had “reached a friendly resolution of the dispute” but had not offered other information.

“We are delighted that the parties were able to conclude a satisfactory regulation on both sides and not making additional comments on this subject,” Drake’s legal team said in a statement.

Friday, in an email, Iheartmedia refused to comment on the regulations.

Complaints against the UMG remain active, and an audience on a request for UMG lawyers to reject the petition was to be held in a courtroom in San Antonio on Wednesday.

Drake allegedly alleged that the UMG has embarked on “irregular and inappropriate business practices” to obtain a radio broadcast for “not like us”. The petition also alleys that UMG knew that “the song itself, as well as its album and its video clip which accompanies it, attacked the character of another of the most eminent artists of UMG, Drake, wrongly accusing him of being a sex offender, by engaging in pedophile acts, hosting sexual delinquents and by committing other sexual acts.”

An e-mail to a UMG representative asking for comments was not immediately answered.

In January, Drake filed a defamation complaint at the New York Federal Court against UMG On what he alleys, they are false allegations of pedophilia made in “not like us”. Lamar is not appointed in the trial.

The quarrel between Drake, a 38 -year -old Canadian rapper and singer and five -year winner of Grammy, and Lamar, a 37 -year -old man Pulitzer price winner who titled the Super bowl at halftime The show on February 9 is among the largest in hip-hop in recent years.

The Federal Communications Commission sent a letter Monday to the CEO and president of Iheartmedia, Robert Pittman, claiming that the Commission examines whether the company Audio obliges musicians to perform during its Country Music Festival in May in Austin for a reduction in the remuneration in exchange for favorable dissemination of their songs on the IHEART radio stations.

“We are impatient to demonstrate to the Commission how to perform at the IHEARTCOUNTRY festival – or to refuse to do so – has no impact on the dissemination of our stations,” Iheart Media said in a statement. “We do not make any manifest or secret agreement on the game with artists with artists during our events.”
