Where can you find lasers, electric guitars and supports full of new batteries, all in the same giant room? This week, the answer was the summit of energy innovation at Arpa-E 2025 just outside Washington, DC.
Energy innovation can take many forms and the variety of energy research was exposed to the top. ARPA-E, which is part of the American Energy Department, finances high-risk and high reward research projects. The summit brings together projects that the agency has funded, as well as investors, decision -makers and journalists.
