This new team will appear at Disney Entertainment & Espn Chief Product & Technology Officer Adam Smith

THURSDAY, Disney Entertainment & ESPN announced the creation of a new product engineering group in its leadership structure, as well as the hiring of Andre Rohe as EVP, product engineering To direct the outfit.

Under Andre, the objective is to bring products engineering, media engineering, quality insurance (QA) and engineering teams for trade, growth and identity / connection systems in A unified group. Rohe will relate to Adam Smith, Director of Chief Products and Technologies For Disney Entertainment & ESPN.

“Andre is an incredibly talented technologist who not only brings in -depth experience in the management of world class engineering teams and years of expertise in level recommendation and product personalization, but also a really collaborative spirit “Said Smith in a statement. “It is an excellent addition to Disney and ESPN, leading an exceptional team and working alongside other technologists and managers of our media activities. His skills and leadership will add to our ability to innovate and raise the impact our products on the world public. »»

Andre joins Disney Entertainment and ESPN after more than two heads of engineering teams at Meta, YouTube, Google and Tabula, where he motivated work in recommendations, personalization, AI, Automatic learning , Big Data and more in news, entertainment, video, and more.
