Walt Disney World recently updated the festival Web page for the EPCOT International Arts Festival 2025 to include return entertainment for the annual event.
Entertainment at the 2025 EPCOT International Arts Festival
Several fan-favorite activities have been announced to return for the 2025 season. The party is scheduled from January 17 to February 24, 2025.
Expression Section Wall Paint by Numbers
THE wall painting by numbers at the Expression section stand should return to the same place, near Imagination! flag. Guests can choose a single color and paintbrush to make their mark on a section of numbered squares. As more guests participate in the painting, the colorful squares combine to form a unique mural.
The stand is currently open daily from 11am to 5pm, depending on local weather.
Figment Brush with Treasure Hunt of the Masters
The beloved purple dragon is back with his Brush up with the Masters Scavenger Hunt. Guests purchase a set of cards and stickers for $9.99 plus tax at select locations, which are also the same as last year’s festival: Creations Shop, Port of Entry or World Traveler.
After receiving their map, guests can locate famous Figment-themed artworks in World Showcase pavilions and match the stickers to their location on the map. Once completed, guests can return their card to one of the same purchase locations to be rewarded with a surprise gift!
Chalk art for kids
Located on the World Showcase Bridge, kids will be able to get chalk from Cast Members and create their own unique masterpiece on the nearby sidewalk.
Clever photoshoots
Perfect for creating memories during your visit to the Arts Festival, multiple quick photoshoots should come back. Each location offers guests the opportunity to stand inside a “picture frame” and take photos while appearing inside a famous piece of art or Disney-inspired decor. Currently announced locations and settings include:
- Porte Internationale: Luncheon of the Boaters by Pierre-Auguste Renoir
- The American Adventure Pavilion: Washington Crossing the Delaware by Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze
- Between the Italian Pavilion and the German Pavilion: Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci
- Bridge to World Showcase: Mary Poppins
- Bridge to World Showcase: Sleeping Beauty
- Near the water’s journey, inspired by Moana: Moana
Chalk full of characters
The return Chalk full of characters The activity places chalk murals of beloved Disney characters in hidden locations throughout World Showcase. In previous years, one or two new characters have been added alongside recurring favorites, but we’ll have to wait and see which characters will be included in this year’s event.
Animation Academy
During a session led by an animator, guests will be guided through the process of drawing a Disney character. The current list of participating facilitators includes:
- Luc Consolo
- Matthew Dewater
- Justin Dring
- Will Gay
- Hannah Loflin
- Alex Maher
- Michael Montgomery
- Sarah Schmidt
- Lon Smart
Animation Academy sessions take place at the America Gardens Theater and are currently scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily.
Disney previously announced the Disney on Broadway concert series lineup which takes place during the festival, as well as details and prices of meal packages. Reservations open on December 18.
