What was supposed to be a marriage in paradise transformed a total disaster for a group of Quebecers in Mexico.
Dozens of people from their group fell violently ill Sandos Playacar To Playa del Carmen and say that their calls for help have been dismissed by the staff of the complex.
“He is supposed to be one of the best moments of my life,” Steve Pontarelli told Global News.
“It turned out to be a nightmare.”

Pontarelli and his wife spent a year planning their wedding at a destination at the all -inclusive complex about 75 km south of Cancun. But shortly after exchanging wishes, the disaster began.
“People were fled because they vomited in the bushes. They ran in their rooms to go to the toilet.
“It was out of control.”
Ponterelli told Global News in an interview that around 80 of his wedding guests were afflicted by persistent vomiting and diarrhea.
Among them, Cynthia Leger, who was only a few weeks pregnant. She says that she was one of several people who had running water in their rooms cut at the top of their illness.
Then they discovered hundreds of Others had crossed the same thing at the same hotel.
Almost 900 people have now joined a Facebook group Post on their recent experience falling ill at the complex.
