Alountown, Pennsylvania – A company combining fresh food and drinks with sports and interior games puts operations in Lehigh County.

The Sweet Spot Bar & Grill, a restaurant and a full service bar featuring Topgolf Swing Suit Golf Bays, will hold its last day of work on March 30 at 2805 Lehigh St. in Alentown, said owner Terry Ellis.

Ellis awarded the decision of relatives of various factors, including the slowdown in pedestrian traffic, personnel difficulties, personal health problems and price increases on goods.

“The company has never really succeeded, and we had trouble from the start,” Ellis told 69 news on Friday.

“… We just decided that we are now at a time when we have put enough for us to come back. It’s time to hang up the crampons, so to speak. »»

The ideal point will continue to operate with its normal hours until March 30, Ellis said.

The company is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Ellis appreciates the patronage and support of the community over the years.

“We have truly loyal customers who supported us throughout time,” said Ellis.

“We appreciate them a lot and we will miss them. You establish relationships with these people, and it’s hard to say goodbye.

The Sweet Spot opened in November 2019 in a building that previously housed other catering establishments, including Bob Evans and the Brazilian steakhouse Rodizio Grill.

The company was changing hands in 2023, but this agreement finally failed, said Ellis.

Sweet spot golf simulators allow guests to play more than 100 different golf courses, including the famous Beach and St. Andrews Old beach.

There are a variety of options for individuals and groups, including playing in tournaments, enjoying the competitions closest to the pins and practicing your game on a practice where all your statistics are displayed and recorded in a cloud account, accessible anywhere with internet access.

In addition, guests can use simulators to play other sports such as baseball, football and hockey, as well as non -sport games such as Carnival Classic and Zombie Dodgeball.

The Topgolf swing suites are rented according to the flat hourly rates and not by the person.

The non -peak rate (open at 5 p.m. Wednesday to Friday) is $ 50 per hour, while the peak price (5 p.m. to end from Wednesday to Friday; all day on Saturdays and Sundays) is 60 $ per hour.

The Sweet Spot serves appetizers such as chicken wings, cheese egg rolls and Sweet Spot Nachos; And salads such as apple berries, Buffalo chicken and César (with optional additional modules such as grilled chicken, steak, salmon or shrimp).
