Democrat James Andrew Malone narrowly won a special election for a siege of the Senate of the State of Pennsylvania in the County of Lancaster-, of the GOP, marking an upset victory against the President of the Committee of the County of Lancaster and Republican Josh Parsons.
The Democrats say that they have not represented the County of Lancaster in the Senate since 1889. Malone’s victory has narrowed control of the Gop of the State Senate to an advantage of 27-23. His mandate takes place until 2026.
