A plan to sell the system to four hospitals in difficulty of Crozer Health in the county of Delaware has become more disorder this week when a member of the board of directors of a local non -profit organization continued to prevent non -profit funds from going to Prospect Medical Holdings, the owner of Crozer’s for -profit bankruptcy.

During a virtual hearing, representatives of the Pennsylvania Attorney General Office and Prospect Medical Holdings said that the trial endangered the efforts to close a new buyer for the ruined health system.
“The partner we had and the plan we had, they left,” said Melissa Van Eck, a general -in -chief of Pennsylvania. “Now we have very little time to try to bring the pieces together.”
The drama took place shortly after the resident of Swarthmore, Donald Delson The County Foundation of Delaware at the common Pleadyers of the county of Delaware.
Delson, an outgoing member of the foundation’s board of directors who donated an undisclosed money to the non -profit organization over the years, said in his trial that these payments to Prospect Medical Holdings violate his “donation”, or rather the expectation that his personal gifts to the organization had to be used for other purposes.
