Officers arrived to find a dead little boy. A business owner in the area told Global News a customer found the child, then police arrived and taped off the area.
An autopsy was performed Thursday, when the medical examiner determined the baby died before birth. The cause and manner of death are being further tested, police said.
Police added that they do not believe the death is linked to any area businesses at this time, and that homicide detectives continue to investigate.
