The Canadian Barre Association David Eby Comments surrounding the Lapu Lapu Tragedy.
On April 27, in the British Columbia Legislative Assembly, Eby said: “It is difficult not to feel rage towards the man who did this, who murdered innocent people.”
On May 1, during the question period, Eby said: “In my opinion, he was a murderer. He should spend the rest of his life in detention. ”
Now, the branch of British Columbia of the Canadian Bar association has written an open letter saying that it is “deeply concerned about the fact that the Prime Minister … expresses opinions on legal results before a fair trial.
“By ignoring the presumption of innocence and the requirement of a regular procedure in your public remarks, you authorize others to do the same.”
On April 26, 11 people were killed, including seven women, two men, a non -binary person and a child when a SUV went to a crowd at the festival which honored the Culture and the Philippin Heritage.
The victims go from five to 65 years.

Dozens of people have been injured but the exact number of people remains unknown.

Kai-ji Adam Lo, 30, has been arrested on the scene and has since been accused of eight second-degree murder leaders.
The conservative chief of British Columbia, John Rustad, said that he was concerned that Eby’s comments could “compromise this trial”.
The legal proceedings began and a judge ordered the accused of undergoing an assessment of mental health, but the case is supposed to be at least several months, if not more.
Eby, who is a lawyer, did not move away from his comments when they were asked about them on May 7.
“I think I have a stronger level of confidence in the judiciary to resist my personal comments from the judiciary,” he said.

The Attorney General Niki Sharma was invited to defend the Prime Minister’s comments this week.
She said that she told the Prime Minister to be careful, but that he ultimately respects the role of an independent judicial system.
“I think it is clear that we must be careful and I said that in the house and I said that to my colleagues,” said Sharma.
Eby and Sharma said the comments arise from the reality that it was an emotional moment for everyone.
