Davenport Business Owners expresses the limit speed limit after an accident at the intersection

Davenport, Iowa (KWQC) – The owners of a bar and a grill in Davenport are concerned about the speed limit near the company after a vehicle accident in one Sunday.

An accident eyewitness told Kwqc that a car was deployed east of West Kimberly Road when they tried to turn to the 60th street.

The eyewitness said that the car had then rolled once landing on its roof.

When KWQC arrived, the crews worked to make the car turn over a tow truck.

The owners of the nearby bar, formerly Probstei Inn Bar & Grill, told KWQC that they hoped that the accident would bring awareness of the speed limit in the region. Currently, it is 50 MPH, according to the panels nearby, but the owners have said that it should be reduced in the hope of avoiding another crash.

KWQC contacted Davenport police for more information on the accident.
