THE Collaboration in clinical and translational science (CTSC) Science Cafe is a monthly educational series that brings together scientists, researchers, interns and community members to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at forging new collaborations through shared interests in exciting areas of research.
Each month features a new research focus, a content expert, new perspectives, and a chance to discover uncharted territories in the world of science. Each Science Café begins with the content expert discussing their own work and potential areas of collaboration.
The January CTSC Science Café will feature Jerry Tribout, CTSC Research Participant Recruitment Manager. Tribout will speak about guiding investigators and study teams involved in the design and implementation of clinical research studies on the importance of racial and ethnic diversity in clinical research.
This online session will take place on Thursday, January 9, from noon to 1 p.m.
