Valeria Mireles, the beloved Mexican influencer known as “Miss Rodeo”, died tragically at the age of 20 after a car accident in Nuevo León, Mexico.
Mireles, who gained popularity to share his lifestyle of cowgirl on social networks, was a well-known figure in the rodeo community. His death was confirmed by the Mexican Rodeo Federation on March 10, 2025.
Mireles, who became famous with nearly 100,000 subscribers across Instagram and Tiktok, was crowned Miss Rodeo Nuevo León in 2020 and Miss Rodeo Mexico in 2021. Her passion for rodeo began at the age of 8, and she was also a finalist during a national pole event in 2021, representing Mexico in an international competition in Wyoming next.
Known for his dynamic personality and his love for the rodeo, Mireles shared videos of his extinguished, his barrel races and his care for his horses. His latest article on social networks presented her dance with a friend a few days before her death.
His friends and family paid sincere tributes to the young influencer. “You leave us a huge void,” wrote his friend Cindy Ximena Garza on Instagram. “I will wear you in my memory and in my heart with this smiling and sweet face.”
The Federation of the Mexican Rodeo described Mireles as a “Cowboys culture ambassador” and an inspiration for many young people. “His smile illuminates all the arenas,” they wrote on social networks, adding that his heritage will continue to inspire future generations in the world of rodeo.
