Column: How to get celebrity cheekbones without spending the price of fame | Lifestyle

We have heard of the countless different ways of obtaining a torn face. There are Celebrity beauty products that cost more than $ 100 and parents that cost more than $ 150, but as a student, we are broke.

We cannot afford to spend $ 300 and more on facials and devices that will raise our cheekbones in the sky.

A few years ago, I decided that I finished throwing hundreds of dollars on facials and products that did not work. I started to do Gua Sha, a Chinese medicinal practice that uses a tool to help improve circulation within the body. It was good and did the job but, in all honesty, it hurt the face. If you put too much pressure, you will get irritation, redness and even broken capillaries. After starting to see a lot of irritation, I wanted to move on to something more effective but that had no hard side effects.

I did Gua Sha for about a year and I saw nothing. I gave in and went to get a facial. I asked my esthetician what I should do to get the results I wanted to see: torn off like the Bella Hadid model. She told me to literally put this Gua Sha in the trash, invest in good oil and learn lymphatic drainage.

Lymphatic drainage is the process of emptying fluids and toxins of your lymph nodes. Generally, this practice is used throughout the body, but you can focus on the face. You have six lymph nodes in your face; Through your nose, your eyes, your temples, in the jaw and next to your ears. These nodes can contain a lot of liquids without even noticing. Without drainage of your lymph nodes, you have an increased chance to develop facial lymphedema.

The facial lymphedema occurs when the lymph nodes of the face go too long without being drained. Some of the side effects that can occur with this swelling are opposite, a decrease in mobility in the neck or jaw, congestion and drool while eating.

Not only did it do wonders for my face, but relieves an astronomical quantity of stress. It has been proven by the addicts of the skin around the world that even once of lymphatic drainage can make your jaw clearer and more relaxed. Not only does lymphatic drainage offer outside advantages, but can also provide mentally additional advantages.

Every morning, when I’m going to drain my face, I can really feel the mucus escape from my face. Not only does it clean your body, but prevents the stress you wear on a daily basis.

Writing for Byrdie, Erika Veurink expressed the way the addition of lymphatic drainage in her routine helped her get out of the day to relax and massage the tension of her face.

“The results – a clearer luminance and jaw – were like an additional bonus,” wrote Veurink.

Videos on YouTube can show how to make lymphatic drainage. I always recommend first to get a good oil, and I personally like Riley Juno oil on Sunday, but castor oil or facial oil will do the trick.

Start by washing your face. Then apply your oil; Use about one quantity of quarter -size oil. Once it is applied to your whole face, I like to start the massage starting at the bridge of my nose. I start outside near the bridge, then I start working in my nose to the corner of my mouth. From there, I like to work outwards from the corner of my mouth, following my cheekbones at the top of the place where my ear begins. In the ear, work down by your jaw. Jaw, massage to your chin and repeat at least five times.

Sitting and taking time in your routine to enrich yourself in personal care can make a huge difference in your day. We live in a high stress company with constant changes and roadblocks that lead you to wear a large amount of stress and tension on your face. It can cause facial tension headaches and a temporomandibular joint disorder, also known as chronic jaw pain.

To avoid this, all you have to do is flow.

By carving up five minutes a day to give you a lymphatic drainage massage, you can get the arrottage you want and the personal care you need.
