Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center releases new seasons | Arts and entertainment

Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center from the new 2025-2026 theater season of Colorado College, which includes some Tony Award winners, is built around the theme of well-being, as is the next exhibitions of the museum.

“We will share navigation stories on family dynamics, to build new friendships and a flying caregiver,” said the artistic director producing Fac, Chris Sheley in a press release. “The goal is to cultivate joy for everyone in our community.”

The new season starts on September 18 with “Ms. Holmes & Mrs. Watson, apt. 2b ”, Kate Hamill’s comedy in 2022 which reinvents the classic male characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as women.

The award -winning musical “Mary Poppins” and the award -winning Jukebox musical by Tony and Grammy Award “Alanis Morissette Little Pill: The Musical”, as well as Jen Silverman’s drama in 2015, “The Colordemate”, will be interspersed with two children’s shows in the second season, which includes the production of Raquel Purnea Adventures.

In the museum, “The Many Travels of Mary Chenweth” will launch a new season of exhibitions for local and regional artists.

The theater season tickets cost $ 103 to $ 336 and will be available at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Simple tickets are $ 29 to $ 67 and are on sale on May 21. Go online at Fac.coloradocollege.edu.

2025-2026 Season of the main state

• September 18-CT. 5: “Ms. Holmes & Mrs. Watson, apt. 2b » – The comedy of Kate Hamill 2022 overhangs the famous characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes and his acolyte, Dr. John Watson, as women. The original duo of “strange couple” unite forces to solve the mysteries and collide with a villain who could well thwart them.

• November 19 at Dec. 28: “Mary Poppins” – The award -winning musical Tony 2006, based on the children’s children’s children’s books and the 1964 Disney film, tells the story of a magic nanny that appears on the doorstep of a couple of nowhere to take care of their children.

• February 12 to March 1: “The Colortime” – In the drama to two people from Jen Silverman in 2015, a recently divorced woman invites another woman who moves from New York to Iowa to be her roommate. As their friendship deepens, secrets are revealed.

• April 30 – May 24, 2026: “Little Pill by Jagged Alanis Morissette: The musical” – The musical of Jukebox winner of the Tony and Grammy Award 2019 by Morissette, Glen Ballard and Diablo Cody uses the lyrics of Morissette to colline the pain and the healing of a suburban family.

2025-2026 season of the second stage

• October 25 – Nov. 2: “Raquel’s Purple Pineapple Adventures” by Creede Repertory Theater – in the Bilingual Musical of Noemi de la Puente and Fernanda Douglas, the young Raquel struggles with the summer school and reading until Pinkie L’Ananas Purple presents himself to help.

• February 28 – March 22: “Curious George: The Golden Meatball” – George, the monkey that plays in many books, films and a PBS television program, embarks on an adventure in the Golden Meatball competition in Rome with his friend Pisghetti in a musical by John Kavanaugh and Jeremy Desmon.

2025-2026 exhibitions • June 25-CT. 4: “The many journeys of Mary Chenweth” – The new show presents works inspired by world trips from Chenoweth from 1958.

• September 5-January. 1, 2028: “Gathering Place: Permanent Reinstallation Collection” – The works of the FAC collection, including rarely shown pieces, will document the history of the South West.

• February 6 to July 6, 2026: “The works of Ana María Hernando” – Hernando, an Argentinian visual artist who lives in Boulder, creates soft sculptures, mainly made of tulle, who explore intimacy and monumentality.

• March 6 to July 26, 2026: “Where I learned to look: the art of the court” – an exhibition of works created or inspired by sites, which disputes the idea that art must be done in studios, galleries and other traditional spaces.
