City trade, Colorado – The Rapids of Colorado announced today the appointment of Haley Durmer as director of club business (CBO).
Durmer, a commercial strategist and proven data, will be responsible for the supervision of all the club’s non -sports operations, including its commercial strategy and execution. It will fall directly from the president of Colorado Rapids Pádraig Smith and will officially start her role on July 7.
“Haley is one of the most impressive mounting talents of sports trade today, and we are delighted to welcome him in rapids,” said Rapids president Pádraig Smith. “It brings a successful history of success with some of the most respected organizations in the industry, and its strategic state of mind, its commercial sense and its data -based approach will be invaluable while our commercial operations reshaped.
Durmer joins rapids with in -depth experience of the ticket office strategy, fans’ analysis and income optimization, especially in the major baseball league.
More recently, Durmer has been principal director of income optimization for Seattle Mariners, where she supervised business planning and directed efforts to improve performance between ticket sales, marketing, partnerships, AI -based analysis and market information. Durmer played a leading role in the successful accommodation of the Mariners of the MLB stars game by the navy, sitting on the leadership committee of the stars focused on raising awareness of the growing market and the activation of the participation of the inclusive community.

Before her visit to Seattle, Durmer was the main analyst of the commercial strategy with the New York Yankees, where she directed initiatives through customer loyalty, marketing automation, price optimization and customer maintenance. She also helped to create Yankees U, an internal education initiative aimed at promoting professional development – illuminated her passion for the empowerment of staff and the construction of a culture of growth.
Durmer was recognized as a growing leader in industry, having been appointed to the list of 25 years of sports of the Front Office in 2019 and honored as an emerging framework by Sports Business Journal in 2024.

Durmer will succeed in the longtime director of Rapids, Wayne Brant, who left the club in December 2024. As part of his appointment, KSE will consolidate and restructure all the commercial operations linked to the club under the new role of director of business.
Originally from the East Coast, Durmer was a swimmer of the NCAA division I at the University of Virginia, where she obtained a diploma in management of marketing, commerce and leadership. She will move to Denver before her start date.
