Christine HalvorsenA seasoned leader in federal police and private technology sector has joined Transurban as Director of Technology and Vice-President of Information Technologies. Halvorsen announcement Linkedin’s decision, marking the last stage of a career that covers high -level roles in cybersecurity, risk management, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
Before joining Transurban in May 2025, Halvorsen was CTO of the public sector in Okta, where she directed the development and execution of identity management solutions and access to government customers. She played a key role in conducting digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives in the public sector, emphasizing the adoption of the cloud and compliance with federal standards such as Fedramp and Fisma.
Before her stay in Okta, Halvorsen was Director General of Risks, Compliance and Cybersecurity in Protiviti, where she advised managers and C-Suite advice on complex risk executives and safety strategies. She also spent three years at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as director of the IA / ML and CTO in the field, heading to strategic initiatives in the Federal and National Security Space and helping to obtain 30 million dollars of new businesses in the six months.
The roots of Halvorsen in the public service are deep.
