The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has added 11 American companies, including the American Skydio drone manufacturer, to the list of unreliable entities, according to an official statement.
In recent years, companies such as Skydio and Brinc Dones have ignored the strong opposition of China and have embarked on the so-called military technological cooperation with the island of Taiwan, seriously undermining the national interests of sovereignty, security and development of China. Based on the relevant laws, China has held these companies legally responsible for their illegal actions.
These companies are prohibited from engaging in importing and export activities linked to China, and forbidden to make new investments within China, according to the CCTV News.
China has systematically dealt with the question of the list of entities cautiously, targeting only a very small number of foreign entities which harm our national security, said MOFCOM, noting that honest foreign entities that respect the law have nothing to fear.
The Chinese government, as always, welcomes companies from all countries to invest and operate in China, and undertakes to provide a stable, fair and predictable commercial environment for foreign companies respectful of laws, noted MOFCOM.
In a separate announcement, MOFCOM announced on Friday that it added 16 American companies, including High Point Aerotechnologies, Universal Logistics Holdings and Source Intelligence, to its export control list. The export of double -use articles to these 16 American entities is prohibited, and all the related export activities in progress must be immediately interrupted, according to the announcement.
