CBS Sports has acquired rights to the UEFA women’s champions League in the United States.
The New Deal will see the broadcaster and the Paramount +streaming service, the 75 games of the tournament exclusively from next season to 2030. Select the matches will also be displayed on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network.
The competition had already been shown by Dazn and Youtube in the past four years.
The agreement means that CBS Sports now holds diffusion rights on all UEFA competitions in the United States, including the male champions League, the Europa League, the Europa Conference League and the Young League.
In the female game, he also wears the NWSL, the Concacaf W Champions Cup and the Concacaf W Gold Cup.
Dan Weinberg, executive vice-president of CBS Sports programming, said: “The UEFA women’s champions league with its world class players and elite clubs adds enormous value to the CBS Sports premium football wallet.
“CBS Sports is proud to be the home of the UEFA female Champions League and all the male competitions of the UEFA club until the end of the decade, still solidifying paramount + as the first destination and essential for football fans.”
The 2025-26 season will see the female competition develop and reflect the male tournament with a league phase comprising 18 clubs before the playoffs and the direct elimination phase.
The UC3, a joint venture between UEFA and the European Club Association (ECA), announced the agreement.
“We are delighted to expand our partnership with CBS Sports, bringing the UEFA female Champions League alongside UEFA Men’s Club competitions,” added the general manager of the UC3, Guy-Laurent Epstein.
“While the competition is embarking on an exciting new era, we are delighted with CBS Sports offering its dynamic and insightful coverage to the American public, presenting the highest level of female club football in its new format in the next five seasons.”
The news follows the announcement last week This Disney + streaming service will broadcast the matches of the League for Women’s Champions in Europe of next season.
The Walt Disney Company also concluded a five-year agreement with the competition during the 2029-30 campaign.
