THE CBC The Board of Directors affirms that Crown Corporation will no longer pay individual premiums to employees.
The council indicates in a press release that it will interrupt what CBC calls “performance salary” and will adjust the wages of the personnel affected to compensate them.
This decision comes after the public broadcaster was criticized for paying millions of premiums after eliminating hundreds of jobs.

The press release follows the publication of an independent examination of Mercer Canada of the remuneration of the diffuser for non -unionized employees, including senior executives.
This examination indicates that if the CBC is generally aligned with other companies and organizations in the private sector, the bonuses have “had to be examined”.
He says that if CBC decides to get rid of its performance -based incentive program, the diffuser should take measures to ensure that remuneration remains in the “market environment”.
