Salem, go. – Villanova’s softball won a victory and a defeat in a pair of neutral site matches at the Hokie invites Saturday afternoon.
The Cats won a 9-0-round victory over Robert Morris to start the day, then fell 7-3 to Radford to make a 1-1 division for Villanova (7-10).
First match
The first competition was a power demonstration for the entire Wildcat range, totaling 12 strokes and the three circuits of the season in a 9-0 victory against Robert Morris.
It was a banner outing for the Ostrowski sisters in the first match when Brooklyn Ostrowski totaled a three -stroke match and two points with a double and a circuit while Madison Ostrowski contributed a pair of success and races with his first triple in career.
Ava Franz added an outing to three strokes with a pair of additional blows like Jaclyn Morra Hit a big slam for his first collegiate bomb and Grace Reed delivered a two -point dinger for its first of 2025.
Kelsey White Twirl made a jewel in the circle, coming with a bleaching with five punches five strokes without walking for his first victory of the season.
