
Senior scientist supervising a carbon elimination pilot project off the Duck coast should speak in the next “Science on the Sound” program.
Dr. Jaclyn Cetiner must present “the preliminary results of a carbon elimination field in Duck, NC” at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Coastal Studies Institute on the ECU external banks campus in Wanchese.
Cetiner is a chemical oceanograph with a research context in marine mineral dissolution concerning the regulation of the long -term climate for the hourglass climate. The non -profit research organization realizes the field surveillance program in the duck.
Cetiner will present an overview of the pilot project and preliminary results for the first six months of surveillance.
Organized by the Coastal Studies Institute, Science on the Sound is a series of monthly conferences which brings “perspectives of the whole state and highlights coastal subjects in the northeast of North Carolina”. There is no fee to attend the program which will also be broadcast on the CSI Youtube channel.
