Aaron Brown’s Canadian Relay team, Jerome Blake, Brendon Rodney and Andre de Grasse won the 4×100 meter race at Florida relays in Gainesville, Florida, on Saturday in 38.09 seconds.
It was the same quartet that won gold for Canada at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where it timed in 37.50.
De Grasse also won the 200m male final at Florida relays on Friday. From Grasse, 30, is from Markham, Ontario, and now trains in Gainesville, Florida, under coach Mike Holloway.
Christian Coleman’s American team, Kyree King, Erriyon Knighton and Robert Gregory were satisfied with money with a time of 38.16.
A second 4x100m Canadian team, made up of Malachi Murray, Duan Asemota, Norris Spike and Eliezer Adjibi caught bronze, finishing in 39.13.
