The Northeast Regional Junior Science Fair is fast approaching! It will take place on Thursday, January 16 at the Thorne Rider Campus Center, in the Main Hall, room TRCC008 at Sheridan College.
Last year, about 50 students filled the room with science exhibits ranging from plant science to microbiology, crime solving, earth science and energy.
Susie Fisher, TRMS science teacher, said: “This year we will be holding the fair during the school day. It will start around 2:45 p.m. and we hope to finish it around 5:00 p.m., maybe closer to 5:30 p.m. Students who place in the top three in their category are invited to attend the state science fair at the University of Wyoming in Laramie March 2-4.
Judges are still needed this year for the science fair. Here is the link judges must complete if they wish to judge this year: https://forms.gle/1H1mSDEbq9jsn8Zh9
Judges must be present at the college no later than 2 p.m. on the day of the fair. They will have snacks for you! If you have any questions, please email Susie Fisher at sfisher@sheridan.k12.wy.us for more information.
