Supporters say it aims to reduce administrative formalities in the health care system that can delay care. The invoices deal with the prior authorization, which obliges doctors to obtain the approval of a health plan before being able to take care of the patients. No one is fighting against a chronic disease should have to fight their insurance company just to continue to obtain the treatment that has already been approved. Because some insurance companies have prioritized benefits on people. So here are the invoices in the package. One requires that calls be managed by a supplier of the same specialty. Another extends an approved authorization. It is therefore valid for a year. A third party requires health plans to meet a request within 24 hours. And another requires health plans to stop

State doctors and legislators gathered on Wednesday at California Capitol, pleading for a legislative whole that could reduce delays in health care. Bill supporters aim to combat prior authorization, which essentially obliges doctors to obtain the approval of a health plan before they can take care of patients. California Medical Association says that plans requiring prior authorization can delay care and sometimes cause serious adverse events, including hospitalizations, permanent injuries or bodily damage, or even death.
