Time heats up just in time for this New Orleans tradition. The good times were ready to roll on Friday evening at 6 p.m. with a crawl bar on Main Street in the city center.
“How are you. You heard me. What’s new, Memphis? Said Mannie Fresh, dj. Yeah, it’s DJ Mannie Fresh. It will welcome the fat of Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday Gras Parade and Block Party which begins at 11 a.m. Saturday near Ge Patterson and Main Street.
On Sunday, the event weekend will end with a masquerade ball. Part of the profits will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Hospitality Hub, local shelters and local brass bands.
“We want this going from a regional event to a national event to really drive tourism to Memphis,” said Mowbray Rowand, owner of a business.
