Donald Trump exercised his threat to impose price 25% on most goods imported into the United States of Canada and Mexico (he gave the automotive industry a stay of a month). It has also increased the prices that America requires Chinese exports from 10% to 20%, which are added to WE Commercial data to which China is already subject. The American president warned that he would soon introduce “reciprocal prices” on any country with “unjust” commercial imbalances. Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, said the prices were “a stupid thing” and imposed charges of reprisals on a range of American products, including peanut butter. China has also applied countermeasures and Mexico said it would react soon.
