Twenty one in San Diego means opening the doors to a brand new release scene. Pacific Beach bars, North Park and Gaslamp become a fair game for legal students in the State of San Diego and the possibility seems endless.
Last week, I was ready to live the glory of birthday celebrations not one, not twice, but three times. I was also ready to run, my commitment being again at least a short term and a long term per week. Looking at my calendar on Sunday evening, I knew that a pre-proxy was imperative for gentle navigation.
My first gauge to fix a border with regard to my balanced race with my social calendar was to see if I had unnecessary commitments, to which the answer was no.
As Ambivert, I like, I want, and sometimes even need to be social, if not for pleasure, so to remind me that the recharge is important. In fact, one of the biggest dishes to remember from this training week was the way running can really work like this recharging time.
With RSVPS confirmed at each event, my next mode of attack was to consolidate the dates of my races. By doing the concrete calendar, the races have become non -negotiable for me. Finally, I had to make sacrifices to decide what night I could be sober.
Going intentionally to sober bars may not seem to be a crazy or difficult task, but it can be more difficult than meeting the eye. Personally, I can feel shy, clumsy or boring without the help loosening alcohol. However, drink goes beyond me and my Race training plan.
American alcohol consumption has won a general traction while major health organizations around the world express their concern. Even in our own school, sobriety attracts attention.
During this wild week, I dragged myself with a light weight session at the Express arc when a sign on the television display attracted my attention. He reported that “in the past two weeks, fifty -one percent of SDSU students said they did not drink at all.” These data are graceful of the well-being and health promotion service of our university.

It is sure to say that I was very surprised to read this in the middle of my training.
It tells me that there may be more than the reputation preceding our school. I have to wonder if we, as a student body, confirmed the reputation of the party school just because of the preexisting wait, and if so, what undercover is it difficult? Are there other students who also question their relations with alcohol?
Seeing this statistic gave me an additional motivation during the birthday brigade; I opted for Soda water on Friday evening to have a long long -term Saturday race. It was not the most fun I have ever had during an evening, but they can’t all be.
What was fun was to complete seven miles from top to bottom of the Jolla Shores Blvd. The next morning. Most importantly, with a slight sacrifice on my side, I was able to celebrate each friend as their birthday.

Priorifying your needs when it is constantly surrounded by influence takes time, practice and a little preparation. If you debate to go to a party this weekend with Poppi in your cup instead of Papov, or plan to set early alarms to get to this cycling class to which you have always wanted to attend, I urge you to try.
