Connor McDavid had a goal and two assists and Leon Draisaitl had a goal and a decisive pass for Edmonton, who won four of his last six games. Stuart Skinner made 20 stops.
Jordan Kyrou and Colton Parayo scored and Jordan Binnington arrested 35 shots for the Blues, who lost for the fifth time in six games.
During the additional period, Brown scored on a pass of a McDavid pass for the victory.
The goal of McDavid Power Play at 5:50 am from the second period gave the Oilers an advance of 1-0.
Kyrou scored on the power game at 5:12 am to attach it to 1-all and Parayko gave the Blues the advantage at 8:58 am.
