The trial for the murder of British Columbia of an alleged contract killer heard testimonies on Monday concerning an accomplice presumed to the crime, who later became a police officer.
Brandon Teixeira pleaded not guilty to three accusations – first degree murderAttempt to murder and discharge a firearm – linked to two victims.

On Monday, the court learned that the alleged accomplice, called “Person X”, was a criminal with $ 50,000 in debt and was looking for compensation between $ 400,000 and $ 500,000 for his cooperation with the police.

During the counter-examination, the lawyer of Teixeira questioned the character of the person X, noting that he was a criminal and declared to the court that he had violated the terms of his contract with the police on several occasions.
