Boardwalk announces a summer entertainment calendar

Summer of the programmed events of Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk begins with something new. On Saturday May 17, the walk will launch its first drone In the night sky on the main beach.

The Drone Show will serve as a kick -off in the summer of the activities of Boardwalk, which most highlights the return of its free films on the series. Every Friday evening from June 13, the walk Host a free movie on the main beach. The series opens on the ultimate film of Santa Cruz, “The Lost Boys”. The calendar will also be the original “Ghostbusters”, “Clueless”, “The Wizard of Oz” and more. (There will be no film on July 4)

The walk will fill the other days of the week with a variety of events to its evenings on the colonnade series. That series will include magicians and acrobats on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, live music on Thursdays and DJ dance evenings on Saturdays and Sundays. Entrance is free.
