William Chisholm should be the next majority owner of Boston Celtics, and the Dartmouth graduate knows exactly how he will celebrate.
GROUBECK group Thursday Sold the franchise In Chisholm and the Symphony Technology Group Society Society for $ 6.1 billion, a record sale for any North American sports franchise.
Chisholm grew up in Massachusetts and is a fan of Celtics for life. These are the qualities that helped ensure WYC GROUBECK that the team would be in good hands. Chisholm offered his first declaration to fans, and he revealed to NBC sports Chris Forsberg de Boston which he planned to look at the “Celtics City” docuseries produced by HBO.
“I couldn’t bring myself to look at the documentary because I would have just broken my heart, as in a part of this process,” Chisholm told Forsberg, by NBC Sports Boston. “So the celebration is that we start the documentary. Which for me is crazy because I should have watched each episode five, 10 times already, but I retained myself because I wanted to see where it all ended.
“I would finally have arrived there and watched it, but now I’m all.”

“Celtics City” is released this year and tells the story of the franchise and its impact on the city of Boston. Chisholm hopes to write a new chapter once the sale has been approved by the Council of Governors of the NBA and once the transition is finished until 2028.
