The coherence of Carson Kittsley at the Penn State White Race last fall was the headliner of a lively sporting year in Fox Chapel. The second year golfer pulled one by 136 from 8 sous to win the Piaa Class 3a title.
Kittsley, who missed the state tournament by a few first year shots, rebounded by winning everything during his second round.
In October, Kittsley said he was important that he won a victory before the calendar returned to 2025.
“I wanted to enter and win,” Kittsley said. “I didn’t win anything big this summer. I wanted to win something big before the end of the year. ”
Kittsley became the second champion of the Piaa in the history of the Fox Chapel. Frank Fuhrer III was the first champion of the Foxes when he won in 1976.
