Banijay Live develops with the strategic acquisition of Lotchi, a creator of live immersive experiences including the first show “Luminiscence” attracted more than 350,000 spectators across France.
Forged by the former CEO of Banijay France François de Brugada, Banijay Live was launched in 2023 after the acquisition by Bani Jay Entertainment by Balich Wonder Studio and investment in the self -employed.
Lotchi is a start-up founded by Romain Sarfati in 2023, which was recognized in France for its know-how in the mixture of advanced technologies and orchestra living to deliver cultural glasses around historic places.
“Luminiscence”, for example, tells the story of the Saint-Eustache church in Paris, the Saint-André cathedral in Bordeaux, Notre-Dame de la Treille Cathedral in Lille and Basilica de Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption at the Lille. Lotchi is currently in talks with producers of Banijay Entertainment through Spain and Germany to adapt the immersive experience in symbolic monuments in cities outside of France.
“With creative entrepreneurship in its heart, Lotchi is an extremely complementary asset for our expanding portfolio of live entertainment companies,” said Brugada.
“In Luminiscence, Romain designed a truly unique spectacle, which won immediate success across France. We hope together, based on the imprint and expertise that we and Banijay Entertainment have built, we can pass this offer to the higher level in new cities and sites and capitalize on the innovative approach of the company To create the next unavoidable immersive show, “from Brugada continued.
Sarfati, on the other hand, said that his business was proud to “give life to our inheritance while actively contributing to its preservation through the donations generated by our shows”.
“The success of” Luminiscence “in France highlights the growing public interest for experiences that bring us around a shared and universal history,” continued Sarfati, who also noted that “joining Banijay Live opens the doors To an exceptional international network, allowing us to organize our shows in some of the most emblematic monuments in the world while also considering audacious new creations. »»
