Emme Mullinax from Big Horn HS to play volleyball at Casper College: One of the main players behind the recent success of the Big High School volleyball team will remain in Wyoming to play at the next level.

Emme Mullinax has signed a written offer of sporting aid to compete in Casper College.

During her 4 years to play BH, she helped Lady Rams win 3 2A State championships and had a 2A state finalist.

Mullinax says that the success of Big Horn as a small volleyball school has drawn the attention of many university coaches.

She adds that she has been playing since the 7th year and explains what is so fun in sport.

As much as she appreciated the game, Mullinax says that volleyball may not be in its long-term future.

Mullinax says she plans to specialize in the pre-man.

Sheridan HS Softball: Sheridan is expected to welcome the Thunder basin today.

University play hours are at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Lady Bolts are the 3 times reigning state champions and have beaten the 10-Zip Lady Broncs and 13-2 at the end of last month.

Time is once again a concern because showers and thunderstorms are in forecasts.

If there is a change of schedule, we will transmit it as soon as possible.

Sheridan also plays on Friday at Campbell County and Saturday at the house against Worland.

Sheridan HS Track and Field: Sheridan welcomes the Gary Benson Invitational tomorrow from 11 a.m.

Buffalo will play Thursday in Newcastle and Friday in Cody.

Sheridan / Buffalo Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers won the two games of a double head last Saturday at home against Lovell.

The scores were 7-1 and 9-4.

The team should then play 2 games next Saturday and one Sunday at home against Rapid City Post 22 Expos.

Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bulls dropped the two ends of a double head at home against the Sheridan Jets on Saturday 14-3 and 3-zip.

The team should then play a double head at home next Sunday against Powell.

Friday’s match was rainy.

On Saturday, Colorado lost 12-11.

Yesterday, the 2 teams divided a double head.

The Nationals won the first 3-2 game.

Zac Veen and Braxton Falcord each hit the solo blows for the rocks, but the team was again at 1 round.

In the second match, Colorado won 3-1.

Today is a day of leave on the calendar, and the Rockies will start a series of 3 games tomorrow in Kansas City.
