Bike is a defender of renowned scientific integrity and a microbiologist who studies and exposes a research fault, including image duplication and data manipulation, to maintain transparency and ethical standards in scientific editing.
The fund, launched with the product of Bik’s Einstein Awardwill provide financial resources to BIK and other detectives and employees, as well as to finance training programs, subsidies or awards for defenders of scientific integrity. Plans also include financing for educational or awareness -raising initiatives promoting transparency and responsibility in scientific research. On the basis of a budget sponsorship model and taking advantage of our experience in non -profit development and administration, Bik will have a complete direction on the fund’s resources.
“”This fund is an excellent opportunity to help defenders of scientific integrity to work better together to ensure a research failure is exposed and sent, “said Bik. “Keeping honest science takes a team effort, and with this support, I want to bring together even more sharp detectives to maintain research on the right track.“”
“We are delighted to associate ourselves with Bik, whose work was so crucial for efforts to clean the scientific file, to provide administrative support as well as the donors can support its efforts and obtain a tax deduction”, said Ivan Oransky, Watch retraction co -founder and executive director of the Center for Scientific Integrity, of the non -profit organization of Watch retraction parents. “We see the fund that will adapt extremely well to our Watch retraction efforts and the database of the retraction watch, as well as the base Sleuth of the retraction watch in residence program.
