TRINITY, Fla. — A small town in Pasco County will soon be home to “America’s greatest sports entertainment destination.”
Storyland Studios announced plans to transform more than 800 acres of land in Trinity into a new project combining sports entertainment, arts, health-focused facilities and amenities in a sustainable lifestyle community.
The project was unveiled at the IAAPA 2024 conference in Orlando. It will be the largest community land development project in the country.
“There’s a story waiting to be shared here by the athletes, coaches, teams and families who will gather on these acres across the country,” Matt Ferguson, Storyland Studios’ chief innovation officer, said in a statement. . “Professional, collegiate, amateur and community athletes will have world-class facilities in which to compete, train, work and play here in pursuit of their dreams, with all the support facilities necessary to see those dreams become memories eternal personal and shared family. »

Storyland Studios says a variety of collegiate and amateur sports venues will bring teams and spectators from across the country to Trinity for tournaments, events and games throughout the year.
“The development aspires to be an example of intentional land rehabilitation, energy and water sustainability, and an integrated partner to the County in providing solutions to the community’s surrounding infrastructure that builds the County and region while with little demand on existing infrastructure,” the studio said.
