The sale will support the marketing of additional advanced technologies in its operational battery recycling plant at McCarran, Nevada

Reno, Nev., April 04, 2025 (Globe Newswire) – American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) (Nasdaq: slaughter), a business of integrated critical battery materials which markets its technologies for the manufacture of primary battery batteries and lithium-ion battery recycling, announced the sale of one of its unused inherited properties located at 395 Logan Lane in Fernley, Nevada. This 12 -acres property concluded a contract to sell $ 6.75 million, the transaction should end at the latest on July 10, 2025.

This strategic sale will support the company’s mission to advance its lithium-ion battery recycling technologies and its rationalized operations in its commercial-scale battery recycling plant at Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) at the 2500 PĂ©rou Drive, McCarran, Nevada. The prioritization of this tric operational installation allows the ABTC to continue its targeted implementation on its innovative recycling processes which are essential for developing a domestic offer of refined battery materials.

“The acquisition of our industrial recycling factory of TRIC has considerably accelerated the implementation of our first lithium-ion battery recycling operations on a integrated commercial scale,” said Ryan Melsert, CEO of the American technology technology company. “The sale of one of our inherited Fernley assets will provide additional resources to continue to execute the second phase of our advanced recycling technologies, strengthening our ability to promote the development of one of the first supply chains of closed battery materials in North America.”

The ABTC recycling installation is built on a very primary technological framework which combines advanced manufacturing processes with selective hydrometallurgical methods. This aging power system allows the treatment of various lithium-ion batteries, regardless of size, shape or chemistry. The first operational phase of the installation produces materials such as copper, aluminum, steel, intermediate lithium and black mass. An additional refinement in the second phase allows the production of category nickel sulfate, cobalt sulfate, manganese sulfate and lithium hydroxide.

The company continues to assess the opportunities of its real estate asset at 390 Logan Lane and the water rights assets of the company located in Fernley, Nevada.
