Friday, Alabama High School Athletic Association announced sanctions on two secondary schools of North Alabama for violations of rules committed by their spring sports teams.
Albertville High School and Cedar Bluff High School both have self -depressed violations.
The Soccer program of the university boys of Albertville and Junior was sentenced to a fine and put in probation for having played two ineligible students in violation of the rule of external participation and the academic rule, respectively.
The football program must lose all the won matches in which the ineligible players participated. Ineligible players were assessed in restitution for the competitions in which they participated while being inadmissible – which means that they must sit on the same number of games in which they played when they violated the rules.
The Cedar Bluff’s university baseball program was sentenced to a fine and put in probation for playing an unacceptable student in violation of the registration rule and the AHSAA transfer rule.
Cedar Bluff’s university baseball team has to lose all the won matches in which the ineligible player has participated. The ineligible student is assessed the restitution of the competitions in which he participated when he was inadmissible.
