Central Coast Lifestyle Neurology Medical Group,

Question: The year when the company was created?

Q: What inspired you to start your business and how does it meet the needs of the 55+ community?

A: As a doctor, I was inspired to look beyond my traditional neurology training to find ways to help people live their best life as they age.

While people live longer, we see an increase in neurodegenerative conditions (such as Parkinson’s disease, cognitive disorders, dementia) and I wanted to provide people more information and hope for the prevention and slowdown in the progression of these diseases.

Q: What unique products or services do you offer who help the elderly to live well and to age wisely?

A: In my practice, I mixed my neurological expertise with my training in lifestyle medicine and culinary medicine. I incorporate these three specialties to offer consultations to the elderly to help change and improve their lives by promoting healthier aging, and in particular brain health.

I also offer traditional neurological care, the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, cognitive disorders, dementia, migraines and other neurological problems. I am only trained to really guide my patients towards a better and healthier life as they age.

Q: How does your business help the elderly remain active, healthy or to engage in their community?

A: Because a large part of our lives is affected by the lifestyle choices, I help to guide people to these intelligent and healthy decisions. With my patients, I can help them develop physical activity plans and promulgate ways to incorporate a healthy eating of the brain.

Staying socially engaged and connected to your community is important to the health of the brain and it is another aspect of my holistic approach for each of my patients.

Q: What trends do you see on the senior market and how does your business adapt to meet these needs?

A: In the consumer media, there was an increase in discussions and research on lifestyle changes for healthy brain aging. But the distinction between passage methods and real interventions based on evidence can be difficult. I specialize exactly: changes in lifestyle and medical care that help keep your brain healthy as you get older.

Q: What advice would you give to the elderly who seek to improve their quality of life or to achieve their goals?

A: Start small and set realistic objectives. You can have trouble or have health problems, but by setting goals to improve your lifestyle, you may feel better along the way. Too often, people try to make huge changes by following the last mode or the trend.

This leads to a state of mind “all or nothing” and does not lead to long -term success. Brain health is a long game and staying in conformity with achievable goals will help you feel better longer.

Q: How does your business prioritize the priority for accessibility, affordability or personalization for the elderly?

A: Everyone I see has their own trip. I passionately feel that part of my role is to understand where someone is traveling, then helping to make a personalized plan with each person, to follow them on this trip, encouraging and modifying the plan if necessary.

Whether it is someone to see someone via the Télésanté to check their progress or spend this additional time to refine an exploitable plan, I do what I can make the process clear and effective. This is the key to our success to work together.

Q: How can readers know more about your business or start with your services?

A: Please visit my website here. There is an electronic link on the site where you can call the office at (805)979-1479 to plan your first appointment. It’s just as simple. Let’s start together on a better trip to you!

Health and well-being care

Q: How does your business help the elderly maintain their physical and mental health?

A: We are all unique and I treat each patient individually. I love supporting my patients in their medical and lifestyle trips. As a large part of this, I throw a holistic overview of each person and it not only includes physical health, but also mental health.

Without attacking mental health, physical health will often be late. The integration of lifestyle medicine into traditional neurological care helps to treat physical and mental health.

Q: What advice would you give to the elderly who seek to integrate well-being practices in their daily life?

A: Set realistic objectives, be consistent and do not expect perfection. You may be looking to make big changes, but they only come from making small consistent steps towards this objective. A small change is a step in the right direction. You can start changing earlier than you think by starting with this coherent little step. And I like to help people take this first step.

Q: Are there any new innovations or health care services that you have delighted to share with the senior community?

A: Much of the new research in the field of brain health and brain longevity, especially in Parkinson’s disease and dementia, implies changes in lifestyle. These can be simpler than you think and very effective. These changes are available for everyone and I think it’s very exciting!

Q: How to provide your health services or wellness services accessible to the elderly with mobility or transport challenges?

A: If someone is unable to come to the office due to transportation problems and / or mobility problems, I offer remote gatherings. What we can do via tele -anted has improved considerably in recent years, and it is very exciting for me that I can extend my reach to so many other patients.
