On Tuesday June 10 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (PT), the University of California invites you to a round table on the system scale on Termination point detection and response (EDR) – a class of cybersecurity software designed to monitor, detect and respond to threats. Join us for this special event, during which we will answer the questions and concerns related to the implementation of the EDR in UC, including its intersections with academic work, research and privacy.

We are honored to welcome a panel of experts from the Party Faculture of the UC who will bring deep technical knowledge and an academic objective to discussion. Panelists will talk about the concerns of the community concerning EDR and the academic mission, including research practices and intellectual freedom.
