These are a little larger than typical conversation hearts and include the usual cute messages – including one who says “all. For me, they have more real fruits and are just as crayy as their romantic counterparts. I am a big fan of Hearts conversation (Sue Me, whatever), and I am sad to say that the version of Trader Joe did not look like the same treat. There is just something about the flavor of artificial fruits that I really like.
Sprinkle cake bites

These pop-esque cake treats were conflicting between my group. It is not exactly a pop cake texture; I would describe them more like cookie dough balls with cake covered with frosting and sequins. If you like cookie dough and iced yogurt with dough, you will love them. But, some of my roommates felt differently, calling them “disgusting” and “far too dense”. I would suggest breaking them in half before eating them, but I could never call something so celestial “disgusting”.
For the love of chocolate mousse cake
Note: 4.5 / 5
Price: $ 5.49
This chocolate cake is one of the best I have ever had. It is light, with a few thin layers of frosting and cake covered with a soft chocolate shell. Neither the frosting nor the cake is too sweet, and the cake is garnished with a little green icing made to look like leaves and a pink heart in milk chocolate (not melting, even if it is what it looks like). Its heart shape and shareable size make it a perfect cake for two at an affordable price. If you need a Valentine’s Day Evening Evening Dessert to share with your partner, run Trader Joe’s to get it.

These rice cracker hearts have a taste for natural rice krispies cereals and not much else. They are not super sweet, even if they are covered with sugar, and they have left a strange aftertaste in my mouth. Their bag, however, is perfectly designed and these cricker hearts have an aesthetic appeal as well as a good crunch. I could use the leftovers to decorate the cake for my birthday next week. They would look pretty in a snack, but I would not buy them anymore.
Some Joe’s Valentine trader treats were disappointing and others were delicious. But it doesn’t matter how much I loved the foam cake or the bites to sprinkle, if I want the nostalgia for the fun dip and smarties, I’m just going to get them instead.
