A summer favorite returned last week with the first dinner of the 2025 quay in Prairie Street Brewing Co.200 Prairie St. along the Rock River.
As in the previous summers, the Summerlong event presents live music (the open season with Rockford Band, The Mystery Dates) and food and drinks on the Quai PSB every Thursday evening from May to September.
The shows are free and open at all ages.

The 2025 range has a little of everything, from rock and roll to blues and funk.

May 22: Rare Element, based in Madison, is a group of high -energy funk of seven rooms.
May 29: Ernie Hendrickson is a singer-songwriter and guitarist of Illinois.
June 5: The Dark Dun of Chicago is a Headbanging Rock Rock Group
June 12: Danielle Juhre is a contemporary singer-songwriter-based in Nashville.
June 19: Rockford stereotype performs pop-punk and rock.
June 26: Boom Boom Room brings a mixture of rock, blues, funk and soul from the 70s to today.
July 3: Blue Steel, Rami Award winner, plays a mixture of country and rock.
July 10: PettyCash is a celebration of the music of two legends: Tom Petty and Johnny Cash.
July 17: Sunset Strip is the ultimate tribute of the 80s of Rockford.
July 24: Indika Reggae Band mixes Reggae, Soca, Calypso, R&B, Jazz and more.
July 31: Harlan Jefferson de Rockford is a versatile saxophonist, flautist, singer, composer and actor.
August 7: Tree dogs are dedicated to the preservation of the art of rock and roll in Rockford.
August 14: Miles Nielsen, based in Rockford, occurs with Miles Nielsen and rusty hearts.
August 21: Lola Blu is an author-songwriter Country Rockford.
August 28: Random AF is a group of high energy blankets from Rockford, known for its electrifying performance.
September 4: Flannel Daze is a rock-alternative cover group and Rockford grunge.

About the dinner on the platform
The seats start at 4 p.m., live music is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the kitchen ends at 10 p.m. and the bar remains open until least 11 p.m.
Dinner on the platform offers some different options to enjoy the evening. You can make table reservations for a first -rate place on the platform or try your luck with open seats. You can also stop and enjoy the show of a boat on the rock river or bring a garden chair or two and find a place on the lower quay to enjoy the show.
