One of the teenagers faces accusations of theft with an offensive weapon, the theft, while he was prosecuted by an officer, possession of property obtained by crime and does not comply with probation. Another adolescent is responsible for not complying with an order of liberation and having a sharp instrument.

“I would like to congratulate our members for having made another arrest by car in progress, to strengthen our commitment to attack this current problem and to ensure the security of our city,” said Toronto police chief Myron Demkiw.

“I also bring my gratitude to the air support unit of the regional police in York for their partnership, because their helicopter played a crucial role in these arrests,” continued Demkiw. “This is an example of how vital police helicopters safely manage vehicle activities, reducing risks to officers, the public and all those involved.”
